Throughout my work architecture is a model conception of possible worlds that spur on an organic architecture that “grows” to suit the needs of the landscape and its inhabitants. Taking my cues from Japanese metabolist theories, I create structures from existing buildings (e.g. Chicago Marina City Buildings, abandoned buildings in Berlin, a housing complex in Singapore) that "grow" throughout a space and on paper.I begin by research, travel and searching for cities and buildings that fulfill the visual and conceptual requirements. I then use various softwares in developing the imagery and begin the “growth” process. These images are then edited and printed to architectural plotters or projected onto/into spaces or paper, where they are then drawn and rearranged, manipulated and recombined with other projections. The final results being unique to every space.  Every wall drawing reconstructs the space and gives the illusion of structure, animated texture and architecture growing into and out of the building itself. This leads the viewer to imagine it growing into something else. The viewer perception is altered into becoming part of the space and rethinking where they actually are.
